Jason ist in fast allen Top-Ten Listen von Mundharmonikaspielern in Zeitschriften und im gesamten Internet enthalten.
Seine faszinierende Karriere und sein faszinierendes Leben führten ihn zu den höchsten musikalischen Gipfeln, wie zum Beispiel zu Auftritten in der Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, der Aufnahme einer Grammy-ausgezeichneten Platte mit Johnny Winter, dem Gewinn von drei Blues Music Awards und zahlreichen Nominierungen von der Blues Foundation.
Er ist bis ins tiefste Tal der Sucht gefallen, der Obdachlosigkeit, der Gefängnisse und ist immer wieder aufgestanden. Er selbst sagt über sein Leben und seine Karriere „Es war eine Achterbahn Fahrt auf High Speed“.
Auch heute noch erzählen seine aufrichtigen Aufnahmen, Shows, Lieder und sein mitreißendes Mundharmonikaspiel die Geschichte des Lebens und gewinnen neue Fans, die zu einer emotional hingebungsvollen Anhängerschaft engagierter Musikliebhaber beitragen.
Seine treuen Fan’s haben lange auf ihn warten müssen, u.a. auch wegen Covid-19, nun kommt er wieder nach Europa, im Juli 2024 wird er mit seiner Band „The Bad Kind“ auf Tour sein. Wir freuen uns, das wir euch diesen großartigen Musiker präsentieren dürfen.
The multiple award-winning Blues, Jazz and Funk player, singer, songwriter Jason Ricci has played with, toured and recorded with some of the world’s most esteemed Blues, Jazz, Rock and New Orleans musical legends.
Jason is included in nearly every Top Ten list of Harmonica players in magazins and all over the internet. His fascinating career and life has led him up to the highest musical mountain tops such as performing at the “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame”, recording a Grammy winning album with Johnny Winter, winning three Blues Music Awards and numerous nominations from the Blues Foundation only to fall all the way down to the lowest valley’s of addiction, homelessness, jails and back up again.
He said about his past life “it was like a rollercoaster ride on high speed”.
Today his sincere recordings, shows, songs and incendiary Harmonica playing continue to tell the story of life and garner new fans to add to an emotionally devoted following of dedicated music lovers.
His fans across Europe had to wait a long time, one reason was Covid-19, but in July 2024 he and his band The Bad Kind will tour around Europe.
